A well‑established Naples, Florida law firm is seeking an experienced Trusts & Estates Legal Assistant to support attorneys handling estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters. Key Responsibilities
- Support attorneys with estate planning, probate, and trust administration matters
- Prepare, revise, and finalize estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related materials
- Assist with probate filings and court‑related documentation
- Maintain calendars, deadlines, appointments, and court dates
- Communicate professionally with clients, courts, financial institutions, and third parties
- Coordinate execution of estate planning documents, including notary and witness arrangements
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic client files
- Draft correspondence and legal documents based on templates and attorney guidance
- Track incoming documents, deadlines, and follow‑up items
- Assist with time entry, billing support, and additional administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications
- 3 years of legal assistant experience in Trusts & Estates, Estate Planning, or Probate
- Strong working knowledge of estate planning and probate procedures
- Experience preparing wills, trusts, probate pleadings, and related legal documents
- Excellent organizational, communication, and multitasking skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and legal document management systems
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism
- Florida law firm experience preferred
Preferred Experience
- Familiarity with Florida probate court filings
- Exposure to trust administration and wealth transfer matters
- Strong attention to detail and deadline management
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with attorneys and staff
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $75,000–$85,000, based on experience
