Staff Accountant

LHH is partnering with a transformer manufacturer in search of a Staff Accountant for their Athens, GA office. The ideal candidate will have a few years of accounting experience and have worked in a manufacturing environment before. RESPONSIBLITIES

• Preparing for month end close with activities such as journal entries, accruals and variance reporting
• Cost accounting including data receive, cost roll processes, variances of manufacturing costs, physical inventory counts and reconciliations
• Fixed assist responsibilities, depreciation tracking, GL account management, balance sheets and more

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or similar field
• 2 Years of experience in accounting with a manufacturing company required
• Solid understanding of cost accounting, inventory and fixed asset accounting
