What You’ll Do
Cost Accounting & Inventory Management
- Maintain accuracy and integrity of inventory costing data
- Manage standard costs, including annual reviews and updates
- Identify and monitor obsolete/excess inventory and related reserves
- Track and report on raw materials, WIP, finished goods, and consignment inventory
- Prepare inventory-related reporting
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Review labor and overhead rates for accurate product costing
- Prepare actual-to-budget reports and monthly management reporting
- Analyze variances (PPV, work orders, labor/overhead)
- Manage account reconciliations and cost center reporting
- Conduct warranty reserve analysis
Month-End Close & Audit
- Prepare cost accounting journal entries
- Reconcile inventory to the general ledger
- Support audit requests and ensure compliance with internal controls
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Partner closely with Operations on costing and inventory insights
- Support inventory counts and process improvements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting (COGS & manufacturing expenses)
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processes

- Strong ownership of cost accounting processes in a manufacturing setting
- Ability to translate data into actionable insights for operations and leadership
- High attention to detail with a continuous improvement mindset
- Effective collaboration across accounting and operational teams
What You Bring
Required
- 5 years of cost accounting experience in a standard-cost manufacturing environment
- Experience with MRP/ERP systems
- Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in business software
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently
- Cost accounting experience required
Preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- ERP experience (Oracle or similar)

Salary : $90,000 - $120,000
