A well-established Essex County law firm is seeking a seasoned Transactional Real Estate Attorney to join its dynamic team. This hybrid position offers the opportunity to work on complex real estate transactions and development projects from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of real estate-related agreements.
- Advise clients throughout all phases of real estate development projects.
- Provide strategic counsel on lien laws, bonding requirements, and risk allocation.
- Collaborate with developers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure legal compliance and mitigate risk.
Qualifications:
- JD from an accredited law school (REQUIRED).
- Active admission to the New Jersey Bar (REQUIRED).
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in transactional real estate and/or construction law.
- Strong knowledge of lien laws, construction bonding, and risk management in development projects.
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
