Project Accountant | Sacramento
We're partnering with a growing construction organization seeking a Project Accountant to support project financial operations, job costing, billing, and reporting.
📋 Employment Type: Direct Hire or Temp-to-Hire
Key Requirement
✅ Experience working for a General Contractor (GC) is REQUIRED
❌ Candidates with only subcontractor experience will not be considered
Responsibilities
- Manage project accounting and job cost tracking
- Support project billings, change orders, and contract administration
- Reconcile project accounts and assist with month-end close
- Partner with Project Managers to ensure financial accuracy
- Prepare project-related financial reports and analysis
Qualifications
- 1-2 years of Project Accounting or Construction Accounting experience
- General Contractor (GC) experience required
- Experience with job costing and construction accounting
- Experience with Sage and/or Procore preferred
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Onsite required
