Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer

LHH Recruitment Solutions has partnered with a growing organization, and they are seeking a motivated Production Engineer / Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mechanical engineer who enjoys solving real-world problems, working cross-functionally, and seeing designs move from concept through production. This organization designs and builds highly customized thermal and mechanical systems used in technically demanding applications. Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a technical resource to production teams, supporting day-to-day build activities and resolving manufacturing or test-related issues.
• Collaborate closely with engineering, operations, and quality to ensure designs are manufacturable, cost-effective, and high-performing.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives related to product design, build practices, and overall production efficiency.
• Manage engineering change activities, including documentation updates and coordination with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Develop and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs), mechanical layouts, and supporting documentation.
• Participate in validation and testing activities to confirm design intent and product performance.
• Create, revise, and maintain mechanical drawings, wiring layouts, and piping schematics.
• Utilize SolidWorks to support design enhancements, custom configurations, and production improvements.
• Contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment with a strong focus on communication and shared success.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Working knowledge of thermodynamics and heat transfer principles.
• Understanding of basic control loop concepts.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or similar 3D CAD tools.
• 2 years of experience in refrigeration, thermal systems, or HVAC-related engineering.
• Strong problem-solving ability with an interest in hands-on engineering support.
• Organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Familiarity with PID loops, control logic, or automated systems.
• Exposure to project coordination, applications engineering, or cross-functional project work.

Compensation Range: $80,000 - $130,000 10% Bonus
