Payroll Specialist

LHH is partnering with a growing construction company in Sacramento to hire a Payroll Specialist with experience in prevailing wage and certified payroll.

This is a great opportunity to join a fast-paced, project-driven team where your work directly supports field operations.

🔹 What you’ll do:

• Process weekly payroll for field office employees
• Handle prevailing wage, union payroll, and certified reporting
• Review timecards across multiple job sites
• Manage fringe benefits, deductions, and compliance
• Support audits, reconciliations, and employee inquiries

🔹 What we’re looking for:

• 2–5 years of construction payroll experience
• Strong knowledge of certified payroll & DIR requirements
• Experience with systems like Vista, HCSS, ADP, or Paychex
• Detail-oriented and able to meet tight deadlines
