What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Attorney position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Litigation Attorney for a temporary, possibly temp-to-hire, position with a large law firm. This role is based in Bridgeport, CT and flexible for hybrid.
The ideal candidate will have experience in premises liability, professional liability, and insurance defense.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing litigation documents including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests
- Advising clients on litigation matters
- Preparing for and attending depositions, hearings, and trials
- Reviewing and responding to discovery requests
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
- Licensed and in good standing to practice law in Connecticut
- 3 years of relevant litigation experience
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting
The anticipated pay rate for this position is $50-$60 per hour depending on experience.
