What are the responsibilities and job description for the Inventory Control Analyst position at LHH?
The Inventory Control Analyst plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records, supporting warehouse operations, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external partners. This position is responsible for inventory audits, reconciliations, reporting, and driving process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage inventory "true-up" activities, including scheduling based on production plans, validating inbound/outbound transactions in SAP, compiling adjustments and disposal data, and resolving variances against system records.
- Support and coordinate customer inventory audits, ensuring readiness and smooth execution.
- Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests and inquiries.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Conduct weekly inventory audits and Gemba walks to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Monitor inventory attributes, such as expiration dates, batch numbers, and ship-by dates, for accuracy.
- Perform physical counts and visual inspections of inventory as needed.
- Coordinate with warehouse and third-party logistics (3PL) providers to ensure prompt delivery of documentation (e.g., BOLs) to customers.
- Assist in monitoring and improving 3PL inventory performance metrics (KPIs).
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in supply chain, logistics, or related field preferred.
- 2 years of hands-on inventory control experience.
- Strong understanding of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with WMS/ERP systems
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
