About the Role
- Type: Temp to Hire
- Location: College Grove, TN
- Compensation: $68,000-$75,000
Responsibilities
- Support benefits administration, enrollment, and employee assistance programs
- Lead full-cycle recruiting for hourly and skilled positions
- Source candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, and community events
- Coordinate background checks, pre-employment screenings, and onboarding activities
- Create and maintain job descriptions, postings, and recruiting workflows
- Manage employee relations matters, workplace investigations, and corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee communications
- Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs
- Coordinate training initiatives and employee development efforts
- Partner with leadership to address HR challenges and improve processes
- Support HRIS administration, employee records management, and payroll-related inquiries
- Help drive continuous improvement across HR programs and operations
Qualifications
- 3 years of progressive HR Generalist experience
- Strong knowledge of employee relations, compliance, and HR best practices
- Experience with full-cycle recruiting, preferably in high-volume or hourly environments
- Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Experience with HRIS platforms and benefits administration
