Human Resource Coordinator
Location: Wayne, NJ
One of our clients located in Wayne, NJ is seeking a hands-on full-time Human Resource Coordinator to support the HR function across recruitment, onboarding, benefits, and employee relations. This is a great opportunity for someone with 1–3 years of experience to deepen their generalist skills in a high-touch, employee-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage full-cycle recruiting and onboarding, including offer letters, I-9s, W-4s, and E-Verify
- Support leave administration (LOAs) and minor workplace injury follow-ups
- Partner with payroll and leadership on compensation benchmarking and FLSA compliance
- Coordinate benefits open enrollment, including early morning sessions with onsite teams
- Deliver compliance and new hire training
- Maintain and enforce HR policies, procedures, and documentation
- Provide thoughtful, day-to-day support to a tenured employee population
What You Bring:
- 1–3 years of HR experience in a coordinator or generalist capacity
- Familiarity with HRIS systems (UKG experience is a plus)
- Associate’s degree required; Bachelor’s preferred
- SHRM or PHR certification is a strong advantage
- Clear communication, interpersonal savvy, and strong organizational skills
- Ability to travel up to 25%
