LHH is partnering with a rapidly growing health, wellness, and consumer products company to hire a Director of Growth Marketing. This role will own the growth strategy for a high-performing direct-to-consumer business, driving customer acquisition, retention, subscription growth, and revenue across digital channels. The Director of Growth Marketing will lead performance marketing initiatives, optimize customer acquisition economics, and develop scalable growth strategies to support the company's next phase of expansion. The ideal candidate brings 10 years of growth marketing experience with a strong background in DTC ecommerce, subscription businesses, and performance-driven marketing environments.
This is a hybrid position based in Century City, California, requiring 4 days onsite and 1 day remote, offering a competitive salary between $150,000-$200,000 depending on experience, bonus potential, comprehensive benefits, and the opportunity to play a highly visible role in shaping long-term growth strategy.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the overall growth marketing strategy to drive customer acquisition, retention, subscription growth, and revenue performance.
- Own performance across paid media, email marketing, affiliate partnerships, influencer marketing, SEO, CTV, and emerging digital channels.
- Establish and monitor key growth metrics including CAC, ROAS, conversion rates, customer lifetime value, retention, and subscription performance.
- Lead ecommerce growth initiatives through conversion rate optimization, customer journey improvements, and data-driven experimentation.
- Evaluate and optimize agency partnerships while helping determine the appropriate balance between external resources and in-house capabilities.
- Partner closely with executive leadership to develop revenue forecasts, growth plans, budget allocation strategies, and marketing investment priorities.
- Build a culture of testing and optimization through A/B testing, audience segmentation, attribution analysis, and media mix optimization.
- Leverage customer insights and behavioral data to improve messaging, engagement, customer experiences, and overall business performance.
- Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing growth marketing function as the organization continues to expand.
Qualifications
- 10 years of progressive experience in Growth Marketing, Digital Marketing, Performance Marketing, or Ecommerce leadership roles.
- Proven success scaling consumer-facing brands and driving significant revenue growth within a direct-to-consumer environment.
- Deep expertise across performance marketing channels, including paid social, paid search, email marketing, SEO, affiliate marketing, and influencer programs.
- Strong experience with Shopify or similar ecommerce platforms.
- Demonstrated ownership of substantial marketing budgets and accountability for performance metrics.
- Advanced analytical expertise with customer acquisition costs, attribution modeling, conversion optimization, customer lifetime value, and growth measurement.
- Experience working with both agency partners and internal marketing teams.
- Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Experience within health & wellness, consumer products, fitness, apparel, subscription businesses, health technology, or related industries is highly preferred.
- Ability to work onsite in Century City four days per week.
