Commercial Title Insurance Processor
Location: Nashville, TN (Full Onsite | Hybrid Flexibility After Training Period)
Salary: $90,000–$100,000
We are partnering with a highly regarded law firm to identify a Commercial Title Insurance Processor to support a dynamic real estate practice handling complex, multi-state transactions.

About the Opportunity
In this role, you will support attorneys and stakeholders on sophisticated commercial real estate transactions, including mixed-finance projects involving nonprofits, affordable housing initiatives, and Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) developments. The ideal candidate is highly organized, communicative, and able to juggle multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with legal teams on complex commercial real estate transactions across multiple jurisdictions
- Review and analyze title searches, surveys, and zoning reports to underwrite purchase, refinance, leasehold, and construction deals
- Prepare and issue title commitments, policies, and endorsements in accordance with state and national underwriting guidelines
- Identify and resolve title exceptions and curative matters, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to keep transactions on track
- Maintain accurate file documentation and generate reports on open files, policy issuance, and revenue tracking
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, attorneys, and title companies, providing guidance throughout the underwriting process
- Support compliance initiatives including file audits, accounts receivable tracking, and adherence to regulatory and internal standards
Qualifications
- 2–4 years of experience in commercial title underwriting
- Experience supporting transactions in DC, MD, or VA strongly preferred
- Background working within a large, fast-paced professional environment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and title/escrow platforms such as SoftPro Select or Rynoh
- Working knowledge of ALTA standards, escrow processes, and commercial title insurance practices
- Active Title Producer License(s) in DC, MD, or VA is a plus, but not required
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively
