LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a leading company to fill their open Collections Specialist job in Aurora, CO. To qualify, you must have at least 2 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar B2B Collections role.
This is a DIRECT HIRE job opportunity where you will earn between $26.00 and $30.00 per hour. You will also be eligible for this company's competitive benefits package (details below).
Responsibilities:
-Monitoring a portfolio of customer accounts and following up on past due payments
-Researching and resolving payment discrepancies
-Providing excellent internal and external customer service
-Running aging reports
-Negotiating payment plans and settlements
-Documenting all collection activities in the database
-Maintaining compliance with all company collections policies and procedures
-All other related tasks as required
Qualifications:
-At least 3 years of recent, relevant experience in a similar role
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills
-Excellent attention to detail
-Excellent customer service skills
-Excellent analytical skills
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred
-Excellent negotiation skills
-Previous experience with Sage, QuickBooks, SAP, or similar accounting software required
Compensation:
-Hourly rate between $26.00 and $30.00
