Claims Analyst / Settlement Claims Specialist :: Washington, DC 20006 :: Onsite
We are seeking detail-oriented and analytical professionals to join our team as a Claims Analyst / Settlement Claims Specialist. In this role, you will support the end-to-end claims administration process by reviewing submissions, validating documentation, maintaining accurate records, and delivering a high level of claimant support. This opportunity is ideal for individuals with backgrounds in legal support, paralegal services, finance, accounting, healthcare administration, or recent graduates eager to build experience in operations and claims management. Training will be provided for candidates who demonstrate strong aptitude, professionalism, and attention to detail.
What You Will Do
- Review submitted claims, forms, invoices, receipts, and supporting documents for completeness, accuracy, and eligibility.
- Validate claim information and identify discrepancies, duplicate submissions, or missing documentation.
- Perform data entry, quality checks, and maintain accurate records across internal systems and databases.
- Support claims processing workflows and prepare cases for final review and determination.
- Communicate with claimants through phone and email to provide updates and guide them through documentation requirements.
- Track, categorize, and resolve inbound inquiries using ticketing and support tools.
- Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve processing issues.
- Prepare status reports and support operational reporting activities.
What You Will Bring
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in high-volume work environments.
- Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify inconsistencies.
- Professional verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Comfort working with structured and unstructured data.
- Customer-service mindset with professionalism and empathy.
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new systems and processes.
- Prior exposure to legal, claims, finance, accounting, healthcare, customer support, or administrative environments is a plus but not required.

💵 Pay: $39/hr. - $40/hr.
