Our client is seeking a Business Analyst / Data Analyst to bridge business operations with data-driven decision-making. This role will focus on reporting, analytics, and stakeholder collaboration, working closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable insights.
The position will also interact with adjacent teams (including Dennis’ group, per intake discussion) and support ongoing analytics initiatives currently handled by an internal resource.
🎯 Key Responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and data requirements
- Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations
- Translate business needs into analytical and technical solutions
- Partner with stakeholders to identify trends, KPIs, and improvement opportunities
- Support data validation, integrity, and reporting accuracy
- Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic business decisions
- Collaborate with IT and data teams on data sourcing and system enhancements
- Document processes, workflows, and reporting structures
🧩 Required Qualifications
- Experience as a Business Analyst, Data Analyst, or hybrid BA/DA role
- Strong proficiency with data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, SQL, Power BI/Tableau)
- Ability to translate business requirements into data-driven insights
- Experience working with stakeholders across multiple departments
- Strong communication and documentation skills

- Experience working in environments with ERP, CRM, or operational reporting systems
- Knowledge of data modeling, database structures, or ETL processes
