Accounts Payable Specialist
San Francisco, CA (onsite)
Pay: $30-35/hr

We are looking for an accounts payable specialist for a new job in San Francisco, CA. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of experience, non-profit or construction industry experience, and be able to thrive in a team environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Process high-volume vendor invoices and ensure timely payments
- Match purchase orders, receipts, and invoices for accuracy
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records of accounts payable transactions
- Credit card reconciliations
- Collaborate with project managers and procurement teams to ensure proper coding and approvals
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies
- Support audits and provide documentation as needed
Qualifications:
- 2 years of accounts payable experience
- Proficiency in accounting software Sage or QuickBooks is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
