What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Support Leadership Training Coordinator (Registered Nurse) position at LHC Group?
Summary
Collaborates with operations support and operations leadership to develop a comprehensive training and development plan for agency leadership and back-office teams. Collaborates with subject matter experts throughout the organization to plan, design, develop, deliver, and evaluate live training programs that align with company operations and quality goals and contribute to improved organizational performance.
Responsibilities
- Collaborates with operations support and operations leadership to design, develop, and implement training & development curriculums & programs that focus on organizational process standards for agency leaders and back-office staff.
- Facilitates and maintains applicable onsite, printed, and virtual delivered training & development workshops/programs.
- Proficient with technical tools to ensure trouble-free, highly interactive virtual experiences that keep learners engaged.
- Establish and maintain excellent relationships with supported staff, providing guidance and coaching as needed.
- Obtain, organize, or develop training procedure manuals, guides, or course materials, such as handouts or visual materials.
- Solicits feedback and collects and analyzes data to evaluate the effectiveness of training & development programs.
- Establishes and maintains positive working relationships with agency management and staff of assigned areas.
- Presents information using a variety of instructional techniques or formats, such as role playing, simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lectures.
- Maintains current knowledge of state-specific education requirements for assigned areas.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse
- Baccalaureate or Graduate Degree preferred
Experience:
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in a clinical setting providing hands-on skilled care.
- Three to five years education and/or experience in clinical and process education/adult learning.
- Experience in home health or hospice preferred
