Role Summary:
Operate press, inspect parts, and package parts in accordance with the operation instructions and quality procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a stamping press by inspecting parts in accordance with the control plan for the part being produced
- Package parts in accordance with packaging and labeling instructions for the part being produced
- Record proper information on the Material Utilization Reports
- Record proper part quantities and hit counts on the Production Reports
- Assist Die Repairmen when needed in order to improve efficiency (Coil Changes)
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production workflows and improve efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean work environment.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following safety rules/guidelines, company policies, standards, and procedures.
