Duties
- Safely operate tractor-trailers equipped for hauling fuel, including tanker trailers, following designated routes and schedules.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to verify mechanical condition, safety features, and compliance with transportation laws.
- Manage fueling operations by accurately measuring quantities, securing loads, and ensuring proper documentation throughout the delivery process.
- Maintain detailed logs of driving hours, routes taken, cargo delivered, and any incidents or irregularities encountered during trips.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams to coordinate route driving plans, delivery schedules, and address any unforeseen issues promptly.
- Adhere strictly to safety protocols related to handling hazardous materials like fuel and operate within all federal and state transportation regulations.
Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with endorsements for tanker and manual transmission operation preferred.
- Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with tractor-trailers, tankers; delivery driver experience is highly valued.
- Knowledge of route planning and route driving best practices to optimize efficiency while maintaining safety standards.
- Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and basic maintenance checks before trips.
- Strong understanding of safety regulations related to transporting hazardous materials such as fuel or chemicals.
- Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or with equipment as needed; comfortable working in various weather conditions.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $105,000.00 per year
