What are the responsibilities and job description for the Personal Training Product Education & Social Media Specialist position at LH CLUB LLC?
OVERVIEW:
The role of the (part-time) Personal Training Product Education & Social Media Specialist to support consistency, professionalism, and brand alignment within the Personal Training department across all locations by focusing on education, enablement, and standardization rather than day-to-day management of the Personal Training department or any of its individual CLUB4 Personal Training teams in order to strengthen trainer performance, support ethical supplement education, and ensure the Personal Training brand is represented clearly and consistently both in-club and online.
This is a structured, scoped role designed to drive measurable improvement as an additional internal asset that will work collaboratively with existing leadership but will not assume any Personal Training management or related leadership responsibilities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Personal Training Education & Development
- Develop and deliver standardized education materials focused on:
- Gym floor professionalism and etiquette
- Client communication and retention fundamentals
- Industry best practices and training standards
- Conduct periodic in-club education during approved travel weeks
- Create “train-the-trainer” tools for Regional and Club leadership use
Supplement Education Enablement
- Support education around ethical, results-driven supplement conversations
- Align Personal Training services with approved CLUB4 supplement offerings
- Develop education tools that support confidence and consistency (not direct selling)
Personal Training Brand & Social Standards
- Support development of PT-specific brand and social media guidelines
- Provide content frameworks, examples, and education for trainers
- Collaborate with Marketing to ensure alignment with CLUB4 brand standards
- This role is advisory and educational in nature and does not manage posting schedules, approvals, or execution
Miscellaneous Expectations
- 25 hours per week (part-time salaried)
- One week of travel per month, scheduled and approved in advance with the ability to utilize a company car for said travel
- Mix of on-site club visits and remote work when required work product cannot be accomplished in CLUB or in the Business Office facilities
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
The Personal Training Product Education & Social Media Specialist will report directly to the Head of the Personal Training department but will act as a resource, and liaison between CLUB4 Fitness mid-level and senior Personal Training managers and the Marketing Team.
Qualifications:REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
1) Knowledge, skills & abilities:
- Great sense of humor, upbeat attitude and exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to capture engaging video and static content to be repurposed for social media
- Driven, self-starter with the ability to work independently and with minimal supervision and demonstrated attention to detail
- Experience regularly working and interacting with Team Members across the CLUB4 Fitness footprint as well as members of the Personal Training management team in a professional and empathetic manner
- Ability to work independently while following direction as needed, and can manage projects from inception to completion, providing updates to PT Director as well as other members of Executive Management:
- Is self-motivated and channeled like an ambitious „go-getter“, and has strong social media experience in the areas of social channels, trending, and content creation
- Gritty, innovative, reliable, influential, tenacious, and possess a high EQ (understands how to read and respond to social cues)
- Ability to be a self-starter as well as to work in both a team environment and on an independent basis
- Detail orientated and focused
- Strong time management skills, ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a rapidly changing environment
- Incredibly responsive and adaptable with strong intuitive abilities
- Strong computer skills (Google docs, Microsoft Office Suite) required
- Willingness to travel (up to 75%) to CLUB4 Facilities, key new CLUB openings and related events in order to capture content for social media posts as well as to provide C4F PT and supplement education
- Experience in the fitness industry and/or a strong interest in health and fitness with an emphasis on Personal Training, fitness education, and/or trainer development paired with a clear understanding of gym operations as well as trainer-client dynamics
- Comfort working within established brand and operational frameworks
- Willingness to travel at least one week per month
- Willingness to become ingrained in the fitness community culture and able to embody the CLUB4 values and Brand particularly as they are reflected within the C4F Personal Training program
- Demonstrated public presentation skills matched by in-depth knowledge of said presentation materials required of a Subject Matter Expert on matters of education and supplementation
2) Minimum certifications/educational level:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, education, journalism, or a combination of education and equivalent work experience
- 3-5 yrs work experience within a sales-driven business as a presenter, educator, brand representative and/or manager required
- Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office, specifically Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Experience within corporate or personal wellness or gym/fitness industry, a plus
