Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and organized Host/Host to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a smooth dining experience. Duties
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
- Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
- Maintain a clean and organized host/host station.
- Answer phone calls promptly, taking reservations or providing information about the restaurant.
- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries and complaints with professionalism and courtesy.
- Assist in maintaining the overall ambiance of the restaurant, ensuring it aligns with our hospitality standards.
Skills
- Previous Host/Host experience is preferred, along with a background in food service or restaurant environments.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations and hospitality.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
- Familiarity with POS systems.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of phone etiquette to handle reservations and inquiries professionally.
- Experience in hotel guest services is a plus but not required.
