Objective: Looking for a developer who understands integration, specifically how to work with API data, integrate it with a third-party provider, and onboard customers through security processes. This is an external provider, so it falls outside the typical COF framework. Tech Stack is Java, AWS DevOps. AWS Certified candidates are preferred but not required.

Job Description: We are seeking a highly skilled Java Developer with proven experience at Capital One to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in integration-heavy environments and is adept at working with external providers and complex API ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java applications using Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Integrate third-party APIs and manage secure onboarding processes for external customers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with external systems.
• Work within an AWS DevOps environment, leveraging services such as AWS Glue for data transformation and pipeline orchestration.
• Implement and maintain robust security protocols during customer onboarding and data exchange.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment activities in a hybrid work setting.
• Ideal Candidate Profile
• Ex-Capital One experience is mandatory - familiarity with Capital One's engineering culture and integration practices.
• Strong understanding of API data handling and third-party integrations.
• Experience working outside traditional financial services frameworks, especially with external providers.
• Hands-on expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and AWS services.
• AWS Certification is a plus but not required.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
