1st Shift- Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Position Summary Receive:
Store, pick, load, unload, audit and organize merchandise within establishments
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Unloading and loading trucks, checking in merchandise and matching purchase orders to sales orders
- Operates forklift in and around warehouse if applicable.
- Reads order picking list to pull merchandise from the racks then relocate the order to holding area for shipping
- Moving, sorting and placing received merchandise on designated racks according to predetermined styles, color and size.
- Organize and transfer merchandise from original location to designated racks
- Audit inbound and outbound shipments for quality, consistency, packaging and labeling to ensure accuracy of shipments
Experience:
- One year or more related experience
- Stand-Up Forklift certification preferred.
- Electric Pallet Jack experience and certification preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and proceduremanuals.
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply, and divides in all units of measure, using whole number, common fractions, and decimals
- Physical strength to lift and/or move up 18-50 pounds.
- Above average endurance to stand; walk; and stoop, kneel and crouch.
- Must be authorized to work in US
