Our pediatric office is seeking a Front Office Medical Assistant (Full-time, 40 hours/week with ) to join our team in our Los Gatos location. We have been in the south bay for more than 3 decades. We provide high quality medical care with a personal touch. This special candidate will present with at least 1 year of medical office experience in a busy medical office. The ideal candidate should be warm and positive in nature, people oriented and have a calm and reassuring manner, good organization skills and multitasker, comfortable working and communicating with children and their parents. Works as a team member to create a warm and nurturing medical home for children from newborn to teens.
Daily duties and responsibility include but are not limited to following:
- Answer phones as needed and triage appropriately
- Schedule appointments and manage daily patient flow
- Room in the patients, check vitals ,
- Identify immunization records, prep records before physical exams
- Administer vaccines to children ranged from newborn through teens effectively and document vaccine records.
- Check vaccine stock and medical supplies and order as needed
- Perform routine office tests, UA, Strep , Rapid flu, vision, hearing screen
- Process referrals and arrange specialist or test appointments
- Follow up with patients messages and emails. Relay test or x-ray results and present those results to physicians
- Provide patient education.
- Stock rooms and prep rooms for visits
