Summary:
In this role, you will lead and manage an area of the organization’s production equipment and maintenance operations. You will also supervise the production equipment preventive maintenance program.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise the production equipment preventive maintenance program
- Review the operation of plant equipment and systems constantly, to minimize unplanned downtime, to anticipate & solve problems in a timely manner, and to identify opportunities for improvement
- Help to supervise line improvement projects and be a technical advisor/supporter to engineers/technicians in critical engineering matters
- Frequently and consistently communicate with all maintenance engineers and technicians, both individually and as a group, to ensure proactive two-way communication concerning maintenance issues
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety programs
- Lead and develop all team members for career growth and retention
- Communicate regularly with headquarters in Korea regarding project statuses, continuous improvement, problem solving and planning
- Perform negotiation with vendors and contractors thereby maintaining cost effective and high quality service
- Conduct employee performance reviews based on job descriptions to determine competency, knowledge, and contribution of the engineers and the technicians
- Supervise the managements of documents to follow the requirement of ISO/TS16949
- Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas
- Maintain cleanliness at work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:
- Sort, Set in order, Shine, Standardize, Sustain
- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
Experience:
- 7 years of related experience
- 3 to 6 years of experience leading and managing multiple processes
- Experience with large production lines and floor management
- Experience implementing 5S principles preferred
- Experienced in NFPA 70E, LOTO, and OSHA regulations is strongly preferred
