Summary:
As an ER Manager with experience in labor relations, you will provide strategic direction to the Employee Relations teams by communicating goals, vision, expectations, and priorities. You will coach and provide guidance/direction to the team members through one-on-ones, team meetings, and consistent communication.
Responsibilities:
Duties as ER Manager:
- Oversee NA HR Strategies for all North America sites and subsidiaries for LG Energy Solution in collaboration with other HR leadership.
- Drive policy & procedure communications and changes across the business that drive and align the desired culture and company values.
- Identify and communicate trends. Determine corrective actions.
- Labor Relations issue management of LGES production sites in North American corporations of LG Energy Solution (including joint ventures).
- Collaborate with Korea HQ to manage Labor relations (Employee relations) issues for all LGES production sites, including Joint Ventures business sites.
- Analyzing issues and suggesting solutions on Collective Bargaining.
- Making and reviewing a Collective Bargaining Agreement draft.
- Assisting in resolving labor disputes.
General responsibilities:
- Maintain cleanliness at the work-site in accordance with 5S3R Standards:

- Right Location, Right Quantity, Right Container
- Conduct thorough and timely Layered Process Audits in appropriate work areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
- 10 to 15 years of experience in HR Management in a manufacturing company, developing and driving initiatives, project planning & execution
- 7 to 10 years of experience leading a diverse team, utilizing proven leadership methods
- Cultivating and driving a performance-centered work culture at all levels of the business
- Demonstrated HR Management experience from a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing company is a plus
- Working knowledge of labor relations.
- Able to travel without legal restriction domestically and internationally on short notice at times, to prepare and respond to any labor issues.
Preferred Requirement:
- Experience in dealing with the UAW.
- Experience working in the automotive industry or OEM.
- Knowledge or certification in US/Canadian labor law
- Labor Relations or Law degree is strongly recommended
- Korean/ English Bilingual
