Summary:
This position will engage in production equipment maintenance to ensure continuous production, including troubleshooting, regular preventive maintenance plan execution (TPM), and equipment modification. May also be involved with basic mechanical or electrical work as needed and as qualified.
Responsibilities:
- Efficiently operate both recovery and purification processes by learning from engineering team and equipment vendors
- NMP quality testing using Karl-Fischer Titration
- Identifying maintenance and troubleshooting problems based on control panel readings and physical checks within the operating area
- Keeping a clean workspace using 5S principles
- Adhering to all safety standards and being aware of the safety hazards in a chemical processing environment
- Communication with the engineering/maintenance teams of problems and what maintenance needs to be performed
- Perform minor maintenance such as filter changes, etc.
Qualifications:
- Chemical Processing experience preferable, but not required
- Functionality in emergencies and fast paced environments
- Willingness to learn
- Flexibility for shifts
- Good communication skills
Experience:
- 1-3 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Understanding of production and processing equipment
- Basic mechanical and electrical knowledge
