The Electrode Senior Process Engineer will participate in optimizing productivity and sustainability of electrode production through high level of technical knowledge while ensuring stable mass production quality & PD improvement through recipe setting, aligning specifications, process capability management, and quality defect improvement based on a technical understanding of the process and equipment.

Summary:
The Electrode Senior Process Engineer will participate in optimizing productivity and sustainability of electrode production through high level of technical knowledge while ensuring stable mass production quality & PD improvement through recipe setting, aligning specifications, process capability management, and quality defect improvement based on a technical understanding of the process and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze Quality issues to provide corrective & preventive actions
- Specification optimization by Design Of Experiments (DOE) procedure and process conditions establishment
- Non-conformance report handling and corrective action implementation
- Establishment and revision of process failure mode and effects analysis (PFMEA), process flow diagram (PFD), PF Manual and control plan
- Development of new model introduction (NPI) and 4M change verification
- Conducting internal and customer audits
- Response to internal / external quality issues for the customer
- Chronic defect improvement activities
- Work with engineers / operators to troubleshoot machines to ensure highest yield and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE)
- Compliance with health / safety / environmental / fire regulations
- Analyze productivity, yield and OEE of assigned process and production department
- Improve production processes by creating various standard operating procedures (SOP) and train operators to ensure understanding and correct implementation.
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or MS preferred, or equivalent, relevant experience
- 7 years of experience in electrode technology related job or equivalent, relevant experience
- Six Sigma Certification preferred but not required
- MS Office Suite
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Organizational and multitasking skills
- Korean language skills preferred but not required
