About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead and accelerate our sales initiatives within the engineering solutions business across North America.
This role is critical to expanding our market presence, developing new client relationships, and driving revenue growth. The ideal candidate has a proven track record of winning new business and expanding into new markets.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy & Execution
- Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to grow revenue and market share
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities across the engineering solutions sector
- Manage the entire sales lifecycle from lead generation and proposal development to contract negotiation and closing
- Achieve or exceed assigned annual sales and profitability targets
Team Collaboration & Leadership
- Implement effective sales processes, reporting frameworks, and performance metrics
- Work cross-functionally with Engineering, Project Management, and Operations teams to ensure smooth project delivery
- Support forecasting and pipeline management for leadership reporting
Market & Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong long-term relationships with clients and partners
- Develop relationships with potential new customers across North America
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to identify new opportunities
- Represent LG CNS at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance brand presence
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum 3 years of experience in business development or sales
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Excellent negotiation and problem-solving abilities
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to maintain a strategic perspective
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment
