LFT Fiber is looking for motivated, outgoing independent sales contractors to help connect more homes across Acadiana to our 100% fiber network.

This is a residential field sales opportunity focused primarily on face-to-face customer acquisition. You'll work within LFT Fiber service areas, engage residents directly in their neighborhoods, introduce them to LFT Fiber, understand what they need from their home internet, and help them make the switch.

LFT Fiber provides targeted serviceable addresses and neighborhoods where residential sales opportunities exist, allowing you to focus your time on selling rather than figuring out where service is available.

What You'll Do

As a Residential Outside Sales Contractor, your primary focus will be acquiring new LFT Fiber residential customers through direct, face-to-face sales activity.

You'll:

●    Conduct door-to-door residential sales within LFT Fiber service areas

●    Work provided serviceable addresses, targeted neighborhoods, and expansion areas

●    Engage prospective customers and start conversations about their current internet experience

●    Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate LFT Fiber residential services

●    Explain LFT Fiber internet plans, Wi-Fi solutions, promotions, and other available services

●    Clearly communicate the advantages of a 100% fiber network and locally supported service

●    Answer questions and confidently handle common customer objections

●    Ask for the sale and guide customers through the order process

●    Follow up with interested prospects who are not ready to purchase during the initial interaction

●    Accurately submit customer orders and required sales information

●    Maintain accurate address, prospect, and sales dispositions

●    Represent LFT Fiber professionally and responsibly throughout the communities we serve

●    Share customer feedback and competitive insights discovered in the field

Contractors should expect to maintain a consistent level of monthly residential sales production. Strong performers who maximize their territory and opportunities can significantly exceed minimum production expectations.

Compensation & Earning Opportunity

This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity with performance-based commission compensation.

There is no predetermined salary or guaranteed level of earnings.

Contractors are compensated for qualifying residential customer acquisitions in accordance with the applicable contractor compensation plan.

Earning Potential

Based on individual production, contractors may have the opportunity to earn approximately:

$3,500-$8,000 per month

Higher-producing contractors may earn more.

Actual compensation will vary based on individual sales performance, qualifying sales, customer activations, and the terms of the applicable contractor compensation plan.

Specific commission terms and qualifying-sale requirements will be reviewed with selected candidates during the recruitment process.

●    The ability to conduct sales activity during times when residential customers are most likely to be available

Preferred Experience

Previous sales experience is helpful, particularly in:

●    Door-to-door sales

●    Outside sales

●    Direct-to-consumer sales

●    Telecommunications

●    Fiber internet

●    Wireless

●    Home security

●    Solar

●    Pest control

●    Roofing

●    Home improvement

●    Other commission-based residential sales

Telecommunications experience is not required.

Independent Contractor Relationship

This opportunity is for an independent contractor and is not an employee position.

Independent contractors are responsible for managing their own business activities and applicable obligations, including federal, state, and local taxes.

Contractors are responsible for maintaining reliable transportation, appropriate automobile insurance, mobile communication capabilities, and other requirements identified in the independent contractor agreement.

Employee salary, paid time off, employee health insurance, retirement benefits, and other employee benefits are not provided as part of this independent contractor engagement.

Selected contractors will be required to complete applicable contractor documentation, including a Form W-9, and enter into an independent contractor agreement before performing services.

Physical & Field Requirements

This opportunity involves significant field activity, including:

●    Walking through residential neighborhoods for extended periods

●    Standing for extended periods

●    Traveling between sales areas
