ACCOUNTANT/TAX PREPARER WANTED
Dynamic Accounting and Tax Return Preparation firm is expanding our Plymouth NH operations. We are looking for a CPA or Enrolled Agent to join our team! You will be responsible for providing accounting and tax return preparation for many individuals and small business clients in the greater Plymouth or Lakes Region NH area. The ideal candidate will live in or near Plymouth and be willing to join local community or civic organizations to help us promote and grow the business. Salary plus bonus, plus buy in/partnership opportunity for the right candidate. 5 years Tax experience, CPA or EA required.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation of income tax returns for individuals, partnerships, LLCs, S-Corporations and C-Corporations, estates and trusts
- Record keeping and data entry of accounting records, financial statements, taxes, and other financial reports
- Interaction with clients to provide excellent customer service
- Assist in creating new processes to improve our company's financial efficiency
- Report analysis and findings to management team
Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Accounting
- 5 Years previous experience in accounting/tax return prep, bookkeeping or other related fields
- Fundamental knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop and Quickbooks Online Accounting Software
- Experience with current computer accounting programs and reporting tools
- Detail and deadline-oriented
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Experience with Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
