Manufacturing Operations Manager (Production Manager)REPORTS TO: Director of Operations or CFOSUPERVISES: Group leaders and production operations, including operators, shipping/receiving, and purchasingSALARY: Will be based on ExperiencePOSITION SUMMARY: Manages and coordinates activities of production operations to meet corporate objectives of high on-time delivery rate and high customer satisfaction rating.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:· Maintains high level of quality, insuring products meet the requirements of the customer, through operator training, first piece inspection and in process inspection.· Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments and works with operators to meet maximum output of production. Alerts management to any red flags that would impact the corporate objects and cash flow as it relates to production.· Interprets company policies, enforces safety rules and housekeeping.· Interprets specifications, blueprints and job orders to team and assigns duties.· Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules, using knowledge of capacity and capability of labor and machines.- Analyzes and resolves problems using group problem techniques.· Assists in the training of new operations, existing staff training and initiatives.· Maintains time and production records.· Works with all departments cross-functionally to meet a high level of customer service.· Recommends methods for improving worker efficiency, reducing waste of materials and utilities such as reorganizing workflow, relocating job duties, purchase of equipment and quality improvement.· Maintain TPM and Housekeeping program.· Coordinates with HR too Identify staffing needso Performance management and career developmentREQUIREMENTS:· 2-4 years of trade school and vocational education work experience or apprenticeship in CNC machining environment.· Leadership ability and excellent people skills· Managerial training or experience in manufacturing environment· Good computer skillsCompany DescriptionLFIinc. provides value added manufacturing to our customers complex parts. Salary : $85,000 - $95,000
