Construction Superintendent

Residential Single Family Construction- Ooltewah, TN

LFG Homes is seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations for a subdivision in Ooltewah, TN.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily field operations from mobilization through final completion.
Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, inspectors, and project stakeholders.
Develop and maintain short-term schedules aligned with the master construction schedule.
Monitor workmanship, materials, and installation for compliance with plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Lead jobsite safety meetings and enforce all safety requirements.
Identify potential delays, conflicts, and constructability issues before they affect the schedule.
Coordinate inspections, testing, utility work, and jurisdictional approvals.
Track subcontractor performance and ensure adequate staffing and material availability.
Lead building turnover, punch-list completion, and closeout activities.
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional jobsite.
Provide clear, timely updates to project leadership.

Required Qualifications

Minimum of five years of construction superintendent experience.
Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, scheduling, quality control, and jobsite safety.
Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
Strong leadership, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work full time onsite in Ooltewah, Tennessee.
Valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications

Knowledge of Tennessee building codes and local inspection processes.
OSHA 30 certification.
Experience with project turnover, certificates of occupancy, and phased building delivery.
First Aid/CPR certification.
