We are hiring a Maintenance Technician for a full-time, temp-to-hire opportunity in Lakewood, working Monday through Friday on the day shift. This role handles general apartment and property maintenance, including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, repairs, and apartment turns. Because this is a resident-facing position, we’re looking for someone who combines hands-on maintenance experience with excellent customer service, professionalism, and respectful communication with residents.
Responsibilities
- Perform general apartment and property maintenance and repairs.
- Handle basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting tasks.
- Complete apartment turns and maintenance work orders.
- Repair or install fixtures, doors, flooring, and appliances.
- Safely operate hand and power tools while maintaining professional interactions with residents.
Requirements
- 1–2 years of maintenance experience.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Professional, friendly, trustworthy, and comfortable entering occupied apartments.
- Must be a non-smoker.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
