- This role requires candidates to be onsite in Lexington, KY 3 days a week. Preference will be given to those applicants already within a commutable distance.
The Network Security Architect will also be responsible for documenting procedures, coordinating implementations, and eliminating barriers to achieve desired outcomes. Additionally, they will liaise with other IT operation teams to resolve any network-related issues. The ideal candidate must possess robust communication skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the global network security architecture roadmap aligned with business objectives and future growth.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance network security solutions across diverse environments including R&D labs, manufacturing plants, and corporate offices.
- Ensure alignment of network security design with enterprise IT and security standards and best practices.
- Conduct design reviews and provide technical oversight for network-related security projects across regions.
- Collaborate with enterprise architecture and security teams to ensure integration and compliance.
- Evaluate emerging network security technologies and recommend appropriate solutions to support evolving business needs.
- Work closely with infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, and business teams to translate requirements into network capabilities.
- Manage relationships with key network security vendors and service providers; participate in technology evaluations and contract reviews.
- Maintain up-to-date documentation of network security architectures, diagrams, and standards.
- Ensure designs comply with internal and external security standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., ISO, NIST, GDPR).
- Mentor junior engineers and operational teams.
- 5-8 years of prior Network Security Architect experience
- Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
