Our client, a prominent national plaintiff’s law firm, seeks an experienced workers' compensation attorney to join its growing team. This is an excellent long-term opportunity for an attorney interested in being part of a trial-oriented firm devoted to strong client advocacy.
The firm offers highly competitive compensation and benefits, starting at 100k and up depending on experience. This position is on-site in the firm’s office in Las Vegas.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a docket of litigation matters from filing through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and legal memoranda
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Take and defend depositions, including fact witnesses and experts
- Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and support staff to drive case development
Ideal candidates will have at least 2 years of experience handling workers' compensation cases. Candidates must be able to demonstrate strong writing and research skills. Experience preparing for and participating in trials is strongly preferred.
