We are currently seeking a motivated Account Executive to sell a news and current awareness portfolio to Large Law firms. This position will be responsible for retaining and growing an existing book of business in a defined territory.

About The Role
We are currently seeking a motivated Account Executive to sell a news and current awareness portfolio to Large Law firms. This position will be responsible for retaining and growing an existing book of business in a defined territory.
Responsibilities
- Exceeding monthly and annual sales goals
- Developing detailed strategic plans for growing business within defined territory
- Delivering actionable forecasts and customer intelligence
- Articulating News/Current Awareness Tools’ unique value proposition and its value within LexisNexis’ overall ecosystem
- Collaborating with Client Managers and other sale team members to retain and grow business; provide input on account plans, mitigate risks, identify whitespace and support Large Law’s strategic priorities
- Developing deep customer relationships; serve as a source of referrals and generate leads to other lines of business
- Collaborating with a team of sales associates to retain existing business as efficiently as possible
- Have a Bachelor’s degree (JD/MBA a plus)
- Have 5 years’ B2B sales experience in information services, news, financial services, technology or subscription sales
- Possess a new business “hunter” mentality
- Have great prospecting, selling, negotiating, and closing skills
- Be an exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Have the ability to effectively partner and collaborate across teams
