The Assistant High School Cheer Coach supports the head coach in building a safe, skilled, and spirited cheerleading program.
- Lead the JV team
- Teach and reinforce stunting, tumbling, jumps, dancing and conditioning techniques.
- Monitor athletes closely during practices, games, pep rallies, and competitions.
- Help organize routines, coordinate sideline chants, travel with the team, supervise at athletic events.
- Model Good Sportsmanship
- Assist with tryouts, equipment inventory, and keep up with eligibilty.
