Lexington Extended School Year - Summer 2026
Staff are required to service students on Individual Education Plans. Teachers will provide in person lessons and support per students' ESY IEP services.
Teachers: $67.4256 per hour (FY26 rates)
Positions Available:
ESY Intensive Learning Program (ILP) Teacher (Middle School)
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in special education preferred.
- DESE certification in moderate or severe special needs required.
- Good organizational and communication skills, experience in delivering small group instruction, and ABA training needed.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience working with children diagnosed with ASD as well as leadership experience/skills and experience working in an intensive instructional classroom serving students with ASD preferred.
ESY K-8 Behavior Interventionist
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, social work, behavior analysis, or counseling
- DESE certification aa a guidance counselor, school adjustment counselor, social worker, psychologist or Board Certified Behavior Analyst, (PreK-8 or 5-12)
- Good organizational and communication skills, experience in delivering small group instruction, and ABA training needed.
- A minimum of two (2) years of classroom experience and experience working with individuals with ASD, emotional disturbances and other mental health impairments, cognitive impairments, and related disabilities.
Dates: July 6, 2026 - August 7, 2026; Hours may vary based on specific program and grade levels.
