We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Service Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong attention to detail, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
- Listen to customer concerns and accurately document them
- Perform vehicle walk-around inspections and provide recommendations for necessary repairs or services
- Explain repair estimates and obtain customer approval for work to be done
- Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions
- Handle cash transactions and process payments
- Assist with scheduling appointments and managing the service departments' workflow
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in automotive sales or service advisor role preferred
- Knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance services, including brake repair, tire service, diesel engine repair, air brake systems, transmission repair, shocks and struts, and auto body repair
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively explain technical information to customers
- Excellent customer service skills and a friendly demeanor
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient computer skills for record keeping and invoicing purposes
