Job Description:
Lexington Eye Associates is seeking a full-time Patient Service Specialist to join our Concord office. Our practice is led by board-certified ophthalmologists recognized as leaders in the field. As a Patient Service Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for our patients and play a key role in delivering an excellent patient experience. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, friendly, and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced medical environment. Strong communication, customer service skills, and the ability to problem-solve effectively are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Check patients in and out, collect co-payments, and process orders for contact lenses
- Schedule appointments, support schedule optimization, and assist with problem-solving
- Obtain, manage, and troubleshoot referrals and authorizations
- Maintain patient accounts by obtaining, recording, and updating demographic and financial information
- Communicate proactively with clinical and billing staff regarding patient care needs or issues
Requirements:
- Previous experience in healthcare and EPIC EMR preferred
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities with strong attention to detail
- Previous EMR experience preferred
- Personable, professional attitude with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously

Pay: $21.00 - $22.00 per hour
