High School Spanish. Must have U.S. Bachelor's Degree in Spanish, Education, or a related field, or its foreign equivalent. This position also requires a valid South Carolina teaching certificate with appropriate specialization and fluency in Spanish. Duties: (i) teach concepts and skills in comprehension, speaking, reading, and writing in Spanish to high school students; (ii) teach appreciation of the countries' culture for assigned high school grade level(s) (9-12); and (iii) perform other duties as assigned including tutoring high school students, curriculum writing, peer evaluations and/or similar duties. Position may transfer to a different building within the district's metro-statistical area (MSA) to accommodate the business needs of the district.
