Seeking a skilled Network Administrator to join our Systems team and provide support for the Library's network, hardware and equipment, as well as software on staff and public computers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Associate's Degree
- 3–5 years of experience
Preferred Experience
- Bachelor's Degree
- Networking certification(s)
- 5 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Ensures proper functioning of network.
- Supports and maintains data centers, switches, firewalls, wireless APs and remote network access (VPN).
- Performs capital replacement and budgetary duties, assists with annual Technology Plan and eRate application.
- Communicates with vendors and support for hardware and software.
- Monitors security tools and systems for potential security threats and vulnerabilities.
- Collaborates with County Technology Services.
Schedule
- Includes support and assistance after hours and on weekends/holidays as needed for issues that arise and scheduled maintenance/upgrades.
