SUMMARY:
The Contract Management & Compliance Intern will support Lexington Clinic’s contract consolidation initiative by assisting with the review, organization, and entry of contract information into a centralized tracking system. This temporary summer internship is ideal for a detail-oriented individual interested in healthcare administration, compliance, privacy, or legal operations.
The primary focus of this role is to review contracts and related documents, identify and extract key business terms, and accurately enter that information into a database or other tracking tool. In addition, the intern may assist with related compliance, privacy, and administrative projects as needed. This position offers valuable hands-on experience in contract management, document review, data organization, and healthcare operational support.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Education
- Required: Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare administration, public policy, law, compliance, finance, information management, or a related field.
- Preferred: Candidate is actively pursuing a Master’s degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public policy, law, compliance, or a related field.
Experience
- Prior internship, academic, or professional experience involving administrative support, document review, research, or data entry is preferred.
- Experience handling confidential or sensitive information is a plus.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word.
- Ability to work with spreadsheets, databases, and document management systems.
- Strong data entry and document organization skills.
