Piping Engineer Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Piping Engineer Physical Demands

Piping Engineer Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop piping layouts, isometric drawings, and material specifications.
- Perform stress analysis and flexibility checks in line with ASME/ANSI/ISO codes.
- Prepare MTOs, data sheets, and technical requisitions.
- Review vendor documents and provide support during procurement.
- Supervise piping installation, hydrotesting, and commissioning activities.
- Collaborate with process, mechanical, and structural teams to ensure fit-for-purpose piping solutions.
- Enforce strict compliance with HSE and quality requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Piping Engineering.
- 7 years’ experience in piping engineering, including EPC projects in metals/mining/heavy industry.
- Proficiency in PDMS, SP3D, CAESAR II, AutoPIPE, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of piping codes and standards.
- Excellent teamwork, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Piping Engineer Physical Demands
- Primarily office-based with extended computer use.
- Occasional standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
- Periodic site visits may expose the employee to noise, dust, weather conditions, and construction hazards.
