We're looking for a skilled Contract Manager to oversee all contractual aspects of sub-contractor construction contracts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts for various construction disciplines, e.g. piling, civil foundations, structural steel erection, piping, electrical, etc.
- Draft, review, and formalize contract annexes for specific requirements of the construction projects including contractual tools to ensure on-time and on-budget execution, e.g. liquidated damages, incentives, etc.
- Collaborate with Project Management, Construction Management, legal, and others on contact-related issues.
- Manage change orders, amendments, and close-out.
- Routine monitoring of contractor performance ensuring compliance with scope, schedule, budget, etc.
- Manage claims, disputes, and conflict resolution in collaboration with Project Management, Legal, Finance, etc.
- Provide routine reporting on contract status, risk, compliance, etc.
- Variation in administrative and clerical duties as assigned related to contract management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Law, Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum five years of experience in contract management; preferably in capital Projects or construction.
- Construction purchasing experience required.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Must have excellent organizational and communication skills.
