About the Opportunity
We're partnering with a well-established structural engineering consulting firm that is looking to add a Structural Engineer / Project Engineer to its growing Raleigh team. This is an excellent opportunity to work on a diverse portfolio of building projects while taking on increasing project management responsibilities in a collaborative, employee-focused environment.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the structural design and detailing of building systems under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Produce efficient, code-compliant, and high-quality structural designs.
- Support project managers with project planning and execution.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and clients throughout all phases of design.
- Manage workload to meet project schedules and budget expectations.
- Participate in project coordination, quality control, and risk identification.
- Contribute to the successful delivery of commercial building projects while continuing to grow technically and professionally.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.
- Master's degree in Structural Engineering is a plus.
- 4 years of structural engineering experience within a consulting engineering environment.
- Experience designing building structures across a variety of project types.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively on multidisciplinary project teams.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred; SE license is a plus.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
