What are the responsibilities and job description for the Corporate/ Estate Planning Attorney position at Lewitt Hackman Shapiro Marshall & Harlan?
Well-established San Fernando Valley Firm seeks to add a second or third-year associate to its Corporate Practice Group and Taxation and Estate Planning Practice Group.
Candidates must have a Master of Laws degree (LLM) in Taxation (preferably not earned as part of a joint JD/LLM program).
The role requires a lawyer to participate in drafting a broad range of documents in corporate, merger and acquisition, and general business transactions. In addition, the lawyer will assist with the administration of trusts and decedent’s estates and advise on estate, gift, and property tax issues.
Strong academic record and writing skills are essential. The role requires a lawyer with solid interpersonal skills, proven willingness to accept significant responsibility and help manage a challenging workload in a fast-paced environment.
Candidates must be in good standing with CA State Bar.
