This full-time, sub-professional engineering position offers the opportunity to work closely with private contractors, developers, state inspectors, utility companies, county departments, and the public. You will be responsible for operating a variety of field and office equipment and may be required to work in diverse weather conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a valid driver’s license, strong communication skills, and a passion for public service. In return, Asotin County offers a competitive wage of $26.00 per hour (subject to collective bargaining agreement) and a comprehensive benefits package, including three medical plans, dental, vision, pension, deferred compensation, 11 paid holidays plus one floating holiday, vacation, and sick leave.
